Sunny Cheung

Sunny Cheung has extensive experience in investment banking and finance. Starting in 1999, they worked as an Associate in the mergers and acquisitions/corporate development team for SAIC. In 2004, they joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance as an Associate, providing investment banking services to middle market clients. They then moved to Imperial Capital as a Vice President, where they provided M&A advisory and placed private capital for middle market companies. In 2008, they joined Gleacher & Co. as a Director, executing M&A, restructuring, and financing transactions. They joined Piper Sandler in 2012 as a Managing Director in the Recapitalization and Advisory Services group, specializing in middle market special situations investment banking. Most recently, Sunny Cheung has been a Managing Director at Imperial Capital, responsible for new business development, transaction execution, and relationship management.

Sunny Cheung attended UC Irvine from 1995 to 1998, where they earned a B.A. in Economics. Sunny then pursued further education at Columbia Business School from 2003 to 2004, where they obtained an MBA with a specialization in Finance.
