Anita Mitra

Anita Mitra is a Subspecialty Fellow in Gynaecological Oncology at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust since January 2022 and has served as a Clinical Research Fellow in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Imperial College London since September 2013, focusing on various research themes including vaginal microbiota and rapid evaporative ionizing mass spectroscopy for cervical disease. Previously, Anita held the position of NIHR Academic Speciality Trainee in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at North West Thames Deanery from October 2014 to December 2021 and worked as an FY2 Doctor at Northampton General Hospital, gaining experience in trauma and orthopaedics, accident and emergency medicine, and general practice from August 2012 to August 2013. Earlier clinical rotations as an FY1 Doctor at University Hospitals of Leicester included obstetrics and gynaecology, cardiology, and colorectal surgery from August 2011 to August 2012. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Imperial College London and an MBChB in Medicine along with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Biochemistry from the University of Leicester.
