Anna Phillips currently serves as the Implementation Chair at the Global Schistosomiasis Alliance and holds the position of Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London. As an Act | West Epidemiologist at FHI 360, Anna is involved in the USAID-supported Neglected Tropical Disease program, focusing on scientific research related to diseases requiring preventive chemotherapy. Previous roles include Senior Research Fellow at the London Centre for Neglected Tropical Disease Research, where Anna coordinated the Geshiyaro Project in Ethiopia, and Senior Programme Manager at the SCI Foundation - UK, leading integrated NTD control initiatives in West Africa. Anna has an extensive research background in epidemiology, having previously contributed to monitoring and evaluating HIV prevention programs in India. Anna holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Imperial College London, a Master’s from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Parasitology from the University of Edinburgh.
