Demetrios T. Venetsanos

Demetrios T. Venetsanos currently serves as the Head of Student Experience and Principal Teaching Fellow in the Department of Aeronautics at Imperial College London since November 2022. Previously, Demetrios held the position of Senior Lecturer in Engineering at The University of Huddersfield and served as an Assistant Professor in Engineering Design at Coventry University, where Demetrios also contributed as an Associate Member of the Institute for Future Transport and Cities. Demetrios has extensive experience in academia, having worked in various capacities at Kingston University and the National Technical University of Athens, where Demetrios T. was involved in teaching, research, and engineering roles. Other notable positions include being a Simulation Instructor and Application Engineer at ALFASOLID and the owner of BENAYTIDA Technical Office. Demetrios began his career in aviation with Olympic Airways as part of the team focused on the study and maintenance of aircraft structures.
