Luis A. Gomez-Sarosi

Luis A. Gomez-Sarosi, PhD, currently serves as the Industry Partnerships and Commercialisation Officer for Natural Sciences at Imperial College London, after previously holding the title of Industry Partnerships and Commercialisation Associate in Medicine. In addition, Luis is a Board Member for PhDCEO at Cheeky Scientist, focusing on training PhDs to become successful entrepreneurs. As a co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Nebula X Medical, Luis led the company to win the Joint Business Idea Competition 2018 by EIT Health InnoStars. With a strong background in research, including roles as Research Associate at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Luis has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented at multiple conferences. Luis earned a Doctor of Science in Biochemistry from Instituto Venezolano de Investigaciones Científicas and a Bachelor in Biology from Universidad Central de Venezuela, complemented by an Innostars Innovation Fellowship from EIT Health and a Scientist Master of Business Administration from Cheeky Scientist.
