Shaodong Zhang is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in the field of polymer science and chemical engineering. Currently serving as a Marie Curie International Incoming Fellow at Imperial College London since May 2015, Shaodong specializes in the rational design of ligand-containing and stimuli-responsive self-assembled structures for targeted drug delivery and biosensing. Previously, as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, Shaodong focused on the self-assembly of Janus dendrimers and various complex architectures. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from Pierre and Marie Curie University and an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Ingénieurs en Arts Chimiques et Technologiques, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering from Zhengzhou University.
