Tom Yates

Tom Yates is a Clinical Lecturer at UCL, affiliated with the Institute of Health Informatics and Division of Infection and Immunity since September 2012, and serves as a Specialist Registrar in Infectious Diseases and General Medicine at NHS and as an Honorary Clinical Research Fellow at Imperial College London since August 2018. Yates has an extensive background in research, holding a PhD in Epidemiology from UCL and previously undertaking roles such as Honorary Research Associate and PhD Student funded by the MRC at the Centre for Infectious Disease Epidemiology. Additional experience includes various clinical and research positions across esteemed organizations such as KEMRI - Wellcome Trust and the Oxford Vaccine Group, with a focus on infectious diseases and public health. Academic qualifications include multiple medical degrees and diplomas from prestigious institutions, including the Royal College of Physicians and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
