Rainer Preussler

Rainer Preussler has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Rainer most recently held the role of Vice President: Digital & IT | Portfolio & Programme Management at Imperial, starting in July 2022. Prior to this, they were the Executive Digital and IT: Portfolio and Programme Management at Imperial from March 2021 to August 2022. Rainer also worked as a Principle Consultant/ Senior Project Manager at Resolve Solution Partners from March 2014 to August 2022. Before that, they served as a Project Manager at First Rand Bank from November 2011 to October 2013 and at PriceWaterhouseCoopers from November 2008 to November 2011. Rainer also has experience working as a Project Manager and Data Specialist at Business Enterprises at University of Pretoria from January 2005 to October 2009 and from March 2004 to December 2004, respectively. Additionally, they have worked as an Applications Tester at T-Systems in 2003, an IT Consultant at Technopark Personnel Group from 2002 to 2003, and as a Founder/Member at Greylock Systems CC in 2002. Rainer started their career as a Business Analyst and Systems Developer at University of Pretoria in 2001.

Rainer Preussler completed a Programme in Project Management (PMP) at the University of Pretoria in 2007. Rainer then pursued an MBA degree at the Unisa Graduate School for Business Leadership from 2008 to 2012. In 2013, Rainer obtained a Prince 2 degree from PM Ideas. Prior to that, they completed a Bcom (Hons) Informatics degree at the University of Pretoria in 2003, and a Bcom Informatics degree in 2002. Rainer's education journey began with their matriculation from the German School of Pretoria in 1997.
