Rene Comeau

Rene Comeau is an experienced energy professional with a strong background in operations and engineering. Currently serving as a Power Plant Operator at Imperial Oil since July 2019, Rene has previously held the position of Chief Engineer at both Imperial Oil's Kearl Oil Sands and Imperial Oil from May 2009 to September 2018, where responsibilities included coordinating operations staff during start-up and commissioning, as well as serving as Chief Steam Engineer and Utilities Coordinator. Prior experience includes serving as Operations Manager at Greenfield Energy from April 2007 to February 2009, overseeing operations and maintenance.
