Assistant Director, Strategy And Governance at Imperial War Museums

Laura Crean is an Assistant Director at the Imperial War Museums, where Laura leads strategic initiatives, oversees governance and partnerships, manages corporate planning, and advocates for culture change. Laura also serves as Head of Planning, Strategy, and Projects. Laura previously worked on corporate planning and collections management at IWM and held a secondment role focusing on corporate reporting and event management. Laura has experience in project coordination and administration. In addition to their role at IWM, Laura is a Trustee at The Old Operating Theatre Museum and Herb Garret and works as an AIM Higher Consultant for the Association of Independent Museums. Before their current roles, Laura was a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of New Hampshire and holds a Master of Liberal Arts in History.
