Lara Cachia Chircop

Lara Cachia Chircop has a diverse work experience in Quality Management. Lara is currently the Director of Quality Management at Implantica, starting in April 2021. Before that, they worked at GSK as the Quality Lead Pharma from August 2014 to April 2021. In this role, they implemented and managed a Quality Management system, collaborated with various entities, and introduced electronic quality systems.

Prior to GSK, Lara worked at Actavis from January 2013 to August 2014. Lara held the positions of QS Specialist, Quality Engineer, Validation Specialist, and Analytical Services Analyst during their time there. In these roles, they supported Quality Systems, conducted audits, performed risk assessments, handled complaints, and participated in validation programs. Lara also specialized in analytical analysis and conducted validations.

Lara Cachia Chircop completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biology at the University of Malta from 2004 to 2008. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University College Cork from 2012 to 2014.
