Abhishek Agarwal

Abhishek Agarwal is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and data processing. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Imply since August 2020, Abhishek manages engineering teams in India and the US, previously holding the title of Senior Engineering Manager. At Imply, Abhishek played a pivotal role in building the druid engineering team in Bangalore and was instrumental as the first engineer in India, working across various components of the druid stack. Abhishek has been actively involved with The Apache Software Foundation since June 2016 as an Apache Druid and Apache Storm committer and PMC member. Prior roles include Principal Software Engineer at AppDynamics, Tech Lead at InMobi, and Software Engineer at Microsoft. Abhishek holds a dual degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, obtained in 2010.
