Sr. Director Of Global Support & Success at Imply

Caroline Harris has a diverse work experience. Caroline currently holds the position of Sr. Director of Global Support & Success at Imply since July 2023. Prior to this, they were the Director of Global Support Engineering at Imply from February 2020 to July 2023. Caroline also served as a Technical Support Program Manager at Imply from May 2019 to February 2020, and as a Technical Solutions Engineer from January 2018 to February 2020.

Before joining Imply, Caroline worked at Metamarkets as the Director of Data Solutions for a brief period in December 2017 and in the same role from December 2016 to November 2017. Caroline also worked as a Data Engineer at Metamarkets from January 2014 to December 2016.

Prior to their work at Metamarkets, Caroline was associated with Stanford University, where they held the position of ICPMS Lab Manager / Research Scientist from July 2009 to January 2014. At Stanford, they co-designed and built a state-of-the-art mass spectrometry facility, maintained and updated the mass spectrometers, and trained researchers on mass spectrometry methods and data analysis.

Caroline also worked at the University of California Santa Cruz as an ICPMS Lab Manager / Post Doc from January 2008 to July 2009. In this role, they maintained a specific type of mass spectrometer and developed new isotopic measurement protocols, analyzing seafloor lava samples for isotopic composition.

Caroline Harris holds a PhD in Geochemistry from ETH Zurich. Caroline also has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Geology from Northern Arizona University, as well as a B.A. degree in Geology from Pomona College. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Apache Druid® Basics from Imply in October 2021.
