Laura Schroeder has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and companies. Laura currently works at Impossible Cloud as a Brand Strategy Advisor and Interim CMO. Prior to this, they held similar positions at Flowers-Software GmbH.
Laura also co-founded Red Rocks Impact GmbH & Co KG, an impact investment firm focused on climate tech solutions. Laura served as the Co-Founder and Managing Partner, providing seed funding, business coaching, and marketing services to purpose-driven start-ups.
In the past, Laura worked at finway | Finance Operating System for SMEs as a Brand Strategy Consultant. Laura was also the Head of Brand, Product Marketing, and Comms at Personio.
Earlier in their career, Laura held leadership positions at Basware, where they were the Vice President Global Portfolio, Content, and Brand Marketing. Laura led a global team focused on creating demand and improving sales execution.
Laura's experience also includes roles at Workday, where they served as the Director of EMEA Product Marketing, Product Manager for Compensation Solutions, and Global HCM Strategist.
Before joining Workday, Laura worked at PeopleSoft, where they held various positions such as HCM Sr. Product Strategist, Global Implementation Manager, Senior HCM Consultant, and Development Manager for the Japan Human Resources Solution.
Laura started their career at Andersen Consulting as a Senior Consultant, specializing in Supply Chain Solutions.
Laura Schroeder has a Master's degree in Global Policy and Strategy from UC San Diego, which they obtained from 1993 to 1995. Laura also holds a BA in International Affairs from Lewis & Clark College, which they earned from 1986 to 1990.
In terms of additional certifications, Laura obtained a Post Graduate Certification in Design Thinking from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2018. Laura has also acquired several online certifications, including "Data Science Foundations: Fundamentals," "Data Visualization: Best Practices," "Meeting the Challenge of Digital Transformation," and "UX Foundations: Prototyping," all from LinkedIn, in 2018. Furthermore, Laura received a certification in "Strategic Human Resources Practices" from Cornell University in September 2010.
