Karleton Thomas is an experienced leader currently serving as the Executive Director of Improve Your Tomorrow, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting young men of color in their pursuit of college access and completion. In addition to this role, Karleton is the CEO and VP of Government Affairs at Guatemaltex, where a focus on improving workers' lives within the apparel industry is emphasized. Previous positions include Regional Executive Director at BUILD, which promotes entrepreneurship among youth from under-resourced communities, and Director of Entrepreneurship at the Greater Washington Urban League. Karleton has also served as Principal at Meridian Counseling and LocalLux, as well as held counseling roles at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Peter Young Housing, Industries and Treatment. Karleton holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
