Jared Larue

Jared LaRue has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and roles. Jared recently worked as a Software Development Manager at Improving, where they led teams in designing, developing, and maintaining JDBC and ODBC drivers, datasource connectors, and data science and business intelligence tools. Prior to that, Jared held the same position at Bit Quill Technologies.

Before their roles as a manager, Jared worked as a Senior Solution Architect at Boeing Vancouver. During their time there, they designed a cloud-native web application for managing flight simulator training time and a blockchain-based self-sovereign identity system for flight training students. Jared also co-authored a Solution Architecture Design for NAV CANADA.

Earlier in their career, Jared served as a Project Engineer at OSI Maritime Systems, leading a team in designing an integrated bridge and navigation system for US Navy combat vessels. Jared was also instrumental in implementing work package management processes.

At MDA, Jared worked as a Project Engineer and led teams in developing software solutions for the US Department of Defense and the National-Geospatial Intelligence Agency. Jared'scontributions included enhancing aeronautical instrument procedures and improving automated aeronautical charting functionality.

Jared LaRue obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Manitoba, where they studied from 2001 to 2007. Jared'seducation history does not include any additional degree or field of study from The University of Winnipeg. In terms of certifications, Jared is Microsoft Certified in Azure Fundamentals, which they obtained in November 2021 from Microsoft. Jared also holds the TOGAF® Certified certification from The Open Group, but the specific month and year of completion are unknown.
