Jonny Catlett has extensive work experience in the software industry. Jonny currently holds the position of Vice President Service Delivery at Improving, which they started in March 2022. In addition to their formal education, Jonny Catlett obtained several certifications. In 2012, they completed the "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" course offered by École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne through Coursera. Jonny continued to enhance their programming skills by acquiring the "Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer" certification in July 2013, and later the "Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 7 Programmer" certification in March 2014.

Jonny Catlett also demonstrated their expertise in reactive architecture. In 2015, they obtained the verified certificate for completing the "Principles of Reactive Programming" course offered by École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne through Coursera. Furthermore, in July 2018, they became an Accredited Lightbend Reactive Architecture (LRA-P) Trainer through Lightbend, Inc. and successfully completed the "Certified Reactive Architect Exam v3" administered by the same institution.
