Drew Nemeth

Propulsion Engineer at Impulse Space Propulsion

Drew Nemeth has been working in the propulsion engineering field since 2021. From 2021-2023, they worked as a Propulsion Engineer at AGILE Space Industries, where they were responsible for hot-fire data analysis and qualification program support for attitude control thrusters, as well as thruster development in support of planned deep space and lunar exploration missions. In 2021, they also served as President of Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) UNLV, responsible for growing the organization, recruiting and teaching new members, developing and manufacturing solid propulsion rocket engines, and designing and building competition rockets to be flown at Spaceport America. In 2020, they worked as a RebelSat-1 Lead Propulsion Engineer at RebelSat, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. From 2017-2020, they were a CNC Machinist and Programmer at MetalClays LLC, where they milled, assembled and shipped a variety of 3D stamps, and consulted on new product lines.

Drew Nemeth is currently studying at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Drew began their studies in 2017 and is expected to graduate in 2022.
