John Clouse

Director Of Autonomous Systems at Impulse Space Propulsion

John Clouse has worked in the aerospace industry since 2008. John began their career at Odyssey Space Research, LLC, where they held the roles of GNC Flight Software Developer, Aerospace Engineer, Verification Tester, and GNC/Propulsion Simulation Software Developer. In 2017, they moved to Tyvak Nanosatellite Systems, Inc. as a GNC Engineer. In 2018, they joined Blue Canyon Technologies as a Principal GNC Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for guidance, navigation, and control for small satellites. In 2022, they became a Principal Vehicle GNC Engineer at Impulse Space.

John Clouse received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University between 2004 and 2008. John then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MS) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder between 2014 and 2016.
