Ruqayya Toorawa is a Senior Spacecraft Development Engineer at Impulse Space, with previous experience at Millennium Space Systems, where roles included Space Mission Program Manager and Senior Spacecraft Assembly, Test, and Launch Ops Engineer. Prior to this, Ruqayya co-led the Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition Team at Stanford Student Space Initiative, managing over 20 students in the development of a composite rocket. Additional experience includes positions as a Research Assistant at Stanford University's Wieman Lab, a Mission Integration Intern at SpaceX, and a 777X Propulsion Design Intern at Boeing. Ruqayya holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and has a background in robotics from Da Vinci Science Charter High School.
