PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Accountable for the development, management and evaluation of operating budget, and for achieving objectives within budgeted expense targets.
- Plans, develops, and defends budget recommendations, work goals, measurements, and training requirements necessary to provide both quality and profitable service to clients.
- Planning and developing programs and services which are consistent with the clients’ mission and brand strategy.
- Operationalizing new and untested approaches for engaging audiences online and offline.
- Drive agency account profitability
- Building, maintaining and growing strong client relationships.
- Leading conversations with client procurement partners
- Accountable for triaging/addressing constructive client feedback or concerns and ensuring action plans are implemented swiftly.
- Being sufficiently informed and personally involved in the day-to-day, ensuring sound planning, flawless execution and a solid client/agency relationship.
- Mentor and aid in the skill development of Direct Reports
- Participate and lead in internal agency initiatives
- Serve as agency Pitch Champion
- Keeping agency leadership informed of the status of the group’s accounts, challenges, opportunities, staffing needs and plans.
- Partnering in the development of novel and highly impactful brand strategies.
- Maintaining a high level of performance by the Client Experience teams and other agency personnel.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Bachelors in Comms, PR, Marketing, Advertising or English; Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of account management in a healthcare agency setting
- A deep and thorough understanding of the pharma/healthcare advertising industry and FDA regulations
- Fiscal management of client budgets.
- Agility in management style.
- Must have proven success at identifying opportunities and securing organic client growth.
- Must have participated actively in new business initiatives, including planning and pitch presentations.
Salary Range: $170,000-$200,000 annually
*Salary dependent upon experience & location
