Roby Alampay

Roby Alampay is a seasoned journalist and media executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles. As the Asia Regional Adviser at International Media Support since January 2019, Roby also serves as Founder and Chairman of Puma Public Productions, a pioneering entity in non-music audio productions in Southeast Asia, notable for its flagship brand, PumaPodcast. In addition, Roby anchors the nightly newscast "The Big Story" and co-anchors "The Chiefs" on Cignal TV, Inc. Previous roles include Editor-in-Chief at BusinessWorld, where Roby successfully revitalized the publication during a challenging digital transition, and founding leadership positions at InterAksyon.com and Bloomberg TV Philippines. Roby's educational background includes a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of the Philippines.
