Dean Chavez

Dean Chavez is an experienced camera operator with a career spanning several decades in the broadcast television sports and entertainment industry. Currently serving as a camera operator for JRB Productions and IMS Productions since 2016 and 2014 respectively, Dean also holds a lead utility position at Ming Entertainment and provides camera operations for Pac-12 Networks, covering West Coast college sports since 2012. Previous roles include extensive work with major networks such as CBS, FOX Sports, and ESPN, where responsibilities ranged from camera setup and operation to being an NFL sideline cart driver. Dean began their career as an audio/video technician at Photo&Sound Co., and holds an Associate of Arts degree in radio, television, and film from San Diego City College.
