Marsha A.

Marsha A. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Marsha started their career as an HR Benefits professional at Mid Amerca Savings Bank in 1994 and continued working in the HR field as the HR Director at Union Planters Bank from 1997 to 2000. Marsha then joined Principal Financial Group as a Sr HR Generalist, where they provided HR support to different business units and also served as a downsizing coordinator during the demutualization process. In 2004, they transitioned to Citigroup, where they held the position of Vice President Site Lead until 2009. Later, Marsha joined IMT Insurance as the Vice President of Shared Services. Marsha currently works as an Adjunct Professor at Grandview University. Additionally, they have actively contributed to the Central Iowa SHRM organization as a Board Member and Volunteer, responsible for coordinating and facilitating member programming and chairing the Program Committee for the State Conference.

Marsha A. has an extensive education history. Marsha first obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Upper Iowa University in 2003. Marsha then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Leadership Development at Drake University from 2015 to 2017. In the same university, they also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Leadership from 2017 to 2022. Additionally, Marsha A. earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Organizational Leadership from Concordia University Irvine in 2017-2018. Furthermore, they hold an MBA degree in Business from the University of Phoenix, which they achieved from 2004 to 2009. Marsha A. has also obtained additional certifications, including SHRM SCP from SHRM and SPHR from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
