Steve Larsen

Steve Larsen has over two decades of experience in environmental compliance and safety management, currently serving as the Environmental Compliance Manager at IMTT since June 2002. In this role, Steve oversees solid waste, air, and wastewater programs for the Bayonne, NJ terminal, along with managing DPCC/SPCC and Facility Response Plans. Prior positions include Director of Environmental Health and Safety at IMTT, where responsibilities encompassed daily safety compliance, budget management, and regulatory adherence with NJDEP, EPA, OSHA, and the US Coast Guard. Earlier in their career, Steve worked as Site Remediation Supervisor at IMTT-Bayonne, focusing on historic contamination management, and as Assistant Environmental Manager at Schering-Plough, where Steve handled environmental compliance at a research facility. Steve began their career as a Field Technician at Eckenfelder Inc. and holds a BA in Environmental Studies from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
