Matanya Beery has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2009 with the Israel Defense Forces as a Section Leader. In this role, they were responsible for decision making under pressure in combat and training, as well as weapon development. In 2015, they became a Team Manager at AMIT, where they managed a team of five people and planned a curriculum with the academic head of the program. In 2017, they took on two roles, first as a Teaching Assistant at Bar Ilan University, where they taught calculus 1 for undergraduate neuroscience students, and second as a Team Manager at Tzohar, where they managed a team of five people dedicated to tackling ethical dilemmas. Finally, in 2019, they became a Data Science Team Lead and Data Scientist at Imubit.
Matanya Beery attended Bar-Ilan University from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a Master's degree in Neuroscience. From 2017 to 2020, they attended The Open University of Israel, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Matanya also attended The Open University of Israel from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Life Sciences.
