Safa Elzanfali

Safa Elzanfali has a diverse work experience background. They served as the Senior Director for Global Partnerships at the International Model United Nations Association (IMUNA) since May 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of the Commission for Social Development at IMUNA from May 2021 to April 2022. They also worked as an Assistant Director of United Nations Forum on Forests, Session I from August 2020 to April 2021.

In 2022, Safa joined the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as a Mitochondrial Medicine Research Laboratory Assistant. In 2023, they became a Public Affairs Intern at Islamic Relief USA. Prior to that, they served as a Training and Education Intern at the International Rescue Committee from July to December 2022.

In 2021, Safa's roles included being a Millennium Fellow at the Millennium Campus Network (MCN). They also worked as a Refugee Resettlement Intern at the Nationalities Service Center, where they were responsible for coordinating and supporting NSC COVID-19 vaccination clinics, developing and delivering student outreach events, managing demographic and geographic mapping of refugee and immigrant communities, and organizing in-kind donations.

Safa Elzanfali graduated from Bayonne High School in 2020. From 2020 to 2024, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General at the University of Pennsylvania.
