Noah B.

Noah B. has a diverse work experience in software engineering and management roles. They have worked as a Senior Backend Engineer at InCharge Energy since 2023. Prior to that, Noah served as a Senior Software Engineer at Players' Lounge in 2022. They also held the position of Software Engineering Manager at Stoplight from 2021 to 2022, where they were responsible for adding features to a monorepo and creating new frontend experiences. Noah has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Compoze from 2021 to 2021 and at Bleachr LLC from 2020 to 2021.

Additionally, Noah has a background in software engineering at Workiva, where they extended the functionality of the company's SaaS product and collaborated with cross-functional teams. They started as a Software Engineer in 2017 and worked there until 2020. Before that, Noah ran a successful small business, Borealis Technica, as the Founder from 2016 to 2019, where they wrote custom software, built web applications, and consulted with businesses on their technology needs. They also worked as a Software Engineer at AlasConnect LLC from 2014 to 2017, building and maintaining large enterprise software systems and microservices.

Noah's experience extends beyond the corporate world as well. They have served as a Lead Instructor for "Web Development" at the Alaska Summer Research Academy (ASRA) in 2017 and 2016. In this role, they taught middle/high school students the basics of web development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and online platforms for creating websites and web applications.

Noah B. completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the University of Alaska Fairbanks from 2011 to 2016. In 2013 to 2014, they also attended Narvik University College (HiN) to study Norwegian Language and Social Studies. Prior to their university education, Noah attended Unalaska Jr/Sr High School from 2007 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Noah obtained a Microsoft Technology Associate certification from Microsoft in May 2013, and an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification from the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services in June 2011.
