In Home Behavioral Specialists was created with you and your family in mind because we recognized a critical need in specialized care. We understand that at times therapy and counseling falls short of addressing home-life situations and can leave families without the critical support they need through this journey. In an effort to provide comprehensive attention and support, we created a program to assist the individual and family throughout the day and on a daily basis where it's needed most: the home.

While our primary emphasis is providing this service at home, we are pleased to offer the additional opportunities for your child to explore creativity, socialization, confidence building,  and connection through our music, nature and animal, horticulture, and equine programs.


A BRIEF OVERVIEW ON HOW OUR BEHAVIORAL PROGRAM WORKS

The first step in this process is for our clients to meet with one of our certified behavioral therapists to create a detailed, in-depth profile of their situation - unique difficulties, coping skills, de-escalation techniques, and social interaction processes. We use this profile to craft a personalized plan tailored to the family's support needs and the specifics of the child's situation. Based on this plan, we match the individual and family with the best behavioral specialist to fit their specific needs. This specialist is thoroughly educated on the specifics of the profile and trained to seamlessly integrate with the entire family to provide assistance for the individual and peace and relief for family members.

Your behavioral therapist is there to help on a day to day level: helping through transitions, working with your child's teachers to best understand them, navigate triggers, help de-escalate tense situations, and provide stability and assistance throughout the day.
