Kaelyn Swetala

Kaelyn Swetala has a diverse work experience in various roles. In 2021, they worked as an R&D Mechanical Engineer at In-Situ. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2020, they were a Mechanical Engineer Coop at Daikin Applied Americas, where they led a project on replacing welding with structural adhesives. From 2012 to 2020, they worked at Woof Central as a Dog Handler, Team Lead, and Media Expert, responsible for the health and safety of multiple dogs, training employees, and resolving conflicts. In 2018, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Center for Building Energy Research, focusing on the relationship between building design strategies and innovative technologies to reduce energy consumption.

Kaelyn Swetala earned their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University between 2016 and 2020. In 2018, they also had the opportunity to study abroad for one semester at the University of Canterbury, where they focused on Mechanical Engineering as well.
