Dmitry Ulyanov

Dmitry Ulyanov is the CEO and co-founder of in3D. Dmitry was previously a leading engineer at Samsung R&D Institute & AI Center Russia, where they developed an AR/VR full-body telepresence method that used a neural network to render an avatar from an arbitrary standpoint. Dmitry also created a system for real-time rendering of 3D scenes and point-clouds with ConvNets.

Before joining Samsung, Ulyanov was a senior data scientist at Dbrain, where they developed an image enhancement system based on Convolutional Neural Nets. Dmitry also led a team that developed an OCR system for national passports.

Ulyanov began their career as a research scientist at Yandex, where they worked from September 2015 to February 2018. Dmitry then spent a year as a PhD student at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology before interning at Google in May 2014. Their first job was as a 1C software engineer at Center for account technologies, where they worked from September 2013 to June 2014.

Dmitry Ulyanov has a PhD in Computer Vision from the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, and they are also a Visiting PhD Student at the University of Oxford. Dmitry has a Master's Degree in Machine Learning from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), and they also have certifications from Coursera in Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1, Data Analysis and Statistical Inference, Digital Signal Processing, and Discrete Inference and Learning in Artificial Vision.
