Avery Del Grosso has had a varied career in the sciences. In 2017, they began as a Critical Care Nursing Assistant at Sanford Health. In 2019, they became a Graduate Teaching Assistant - Biology at the University of South Dakota. Since 2020, they have been employed at Inanovate, Inc. as a Project Manager, Research Scientist, and Intern. As a Project Manager, they authored and implemented custom procedures for software validation and equipment qualification, and was responsible for defining timeline activities, daily team timeline reviews, and resource allocation. As a Research Scientist, they conducted western blots, native PAGE, SDS-PAGE, immunoassays, and reverse phase chromatography, and authored quality documents such as equipment procedures, SOPs, and experimental protocols/reports. As an Intern, they assisted lead scientists in conducting a 750 patient study using a medical device, conducted experiments on incoming materials to determine the quality and purity of incoming antigens and antibodies, and contributed to quality documents including equipment procedures, SOPs, and experimental protocols/reports.
Avery Del Grosso received a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from the University of South Dakota in 2019. Following that, Avery received a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from the University of South Dakota in 2021.
