Juan Vázquez Lozano

Juan Vázquez Lozano is a mathematics educator with experience in various academic institutions. Currently serving as a Mathematics Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey since August 2023, Juan also teaches mathematics for the International Baccalaureate Program at Preparatoria Sur, affiliated with Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla, where employment began in January 2020. In addition to teaching, Juan is a PhD Candidate at INAOE, focusing on vector beams and their applications in optical tweezers for anisotropic materials. Juan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Optics from Instituto Nacional de Astrofísica, Óptica y Electrónica, where studies commenced in 2015, and previously earned a Master of Science in Optics from the same institution, completing that degree in 2015. An undergraduate degree in Engineering Physics was obtained from Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla in 2012.
