Amy G. has a diverse work experience in intellectual property and law. Amy currently holds the position of Director of Intellectual Property at Inari Medical, starting in February 2022. Prior to this, they served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law starting in 2018. Amy also has experience in founding and working at Hazel Technologies, Inc. where they were a Co-Founder and held various roles as a C-Suite Executive, Chief Intellectual Property Officer, Board Member, and Corporate Secretary from 2015 to 2020. Amy also worked as a Patent Agent and Consultant at Moyles IP, LLC from 2016 to 2018, preparing and prosecuting patent applications for various companies. Amy's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Patent Agent and Consultant at General Electric from 2006 to 2017, where they drafted and prosecuted patent applications and provided analysis and strategic recommendations for patent portfolio assessments.

Amy G. completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) degree at the University of Pennsylvania from 2001 to 2004. Later, in 2014-2015, they pursued their Master of Science in Law with Honors at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, focusing on the intersection of intellectual property, entrepreneurship, and regulatory affairs. In 2015, they obtained a Kellogg Executive Certificate from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.

Moreover, Amy G. acquired the certification as a USPTO Registered Patent Agent from the United States Patent & Trademark Office in December 2006.
