Ashley Thompson

Ashley Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2010, Ashley worked at Operation Fresh Start as a Classroom Aide and Volunteer Coordinator, where they developed curriculum, trained volunteers, and mentored at-risk youth. In 2011, Ashley became a Grant Projects Manager at Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health & Society Scholars, managing budgets and coordinating research projects. In 2014, Ashley interned as a Talent Development Intern at Johnson & Johnson, where they designed communication resources and analyzed talent pools. Ashley then joined UW-Madison RWJF HSS Program as a Graduate Project Assistant from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, Ashley joined Johnson & Johnson's Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP), rotating in roles such as HR Business Partner and M&A lead. Ashley also served as an HR Leader at Johnson & Johnson, supporting the Vision business unit and leading HR initiatives across multiple regions. Most recently, Ashley worked at Apple as a People Business Partner before joining Inari Medical as the Human Resources Director in 2023.

Ashley Thompson completed their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. From 2005 to 2010, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Strategic Human Resource Management.
