Shon Chakrabarti

Dr. Shon Chakrabarti joins Inari Medical after practicing Interventional Cardiology and seeing patients for 16 years. Dr. Chakrabarti completed his residency training at the University of Michigan and General and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center – Harvard Medical School, with a master’s degree in Clinical Effectiveness from the Harvard School of Public Health. Following Fellowship, Shon practiced Interventional Cardiology with a large group in Virginia Beach. During this time, participated in clinical research and volunteered for the American Heart Association, serving as President of the Hampton Roads Board of Directors. He worked with regional leaders to develop and sustain regional STEMI protocols as a steering committee member of the Virginia Heart Attack Coalition. Dr. Chakrabarti’s first industry role was with Abiomed, where he served as Director of Clinical Research and Medical Affairs, where he provided medical leadership across the Abiomed Clinical Trial Platform and served as a leader in the Medical Office.
