Bastian Minkenberg is a research scientist at Inari since January 2021, with a focus on implications in plant biology. Prior experience includes serving as a postdoctoral scholar at the Innovative Genomics Institute from September 2017 to January 2021 and working as a rice researcher and graduate assistant at the Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences from August 2012 to May 2017, where efforts concentrated on improving rice breeding through CRISPR-Cas9 technology. Previous roles include a research assistant position at the Rice-Barley-Lab, RWTH Aachen University, and a temporary job as a plant pathologist at ARGUS monitoring, focusing on plant disease diagnostics and organic farming solutions. Bastian Minkenberg holds a PhD in Plant Biology from Penn State University and both M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Biology from RWTH Aachen University.
