Dongjin Kim, Ph.D, PMP, is a distinguished scientist with extensive expertise in plant molecular biology and biotechnology. Since June 2021, Dongjin Kim has been leading wheat transformation efforts at Inari, focusing on the development and optimization of transformation protocols and supervising lab personnel. Prior to this role, Dongjin Kim served as a scientist and lab manager at Montana State University-Bozeman, contributing to protein engineering and genome editing projects. With a postdoctoral background at KAUST researching plant kinases and beneficial fungi interactions, as well as prior research experience at the University of Delaware and Myongji University in protein analysis and antibiotic production, Dongjin Kim possesses a robust foundation in molecular biology and stress response mechanisms in plants. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and an MSc in Microbiology from Myongji University.
