David Friend

David Friend is the Vice President of Sales at Inato. David has over fifteen years of experience in sales and account management in the medical technology industry.

Friend began their career as a Director of Key Account Management at MedNet Solutions in 2007. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating workflows and communications between internal and external stakeholders on large projects. David also served as a kick-off specialist, leading teams to successful launch each study.

In 2012, Friend joined Medidata Solutions as Managing Partner for Medical Devices and Diagnostics. In this role, they led a sales team focused on selling Medidata's cloud-based software to large medical technology organizations. Friend helped these companies understand how the right technology could improve their clinical trial and post-market study operations, and ultimately benefit patients around the world.

Friend has been with Inato since May of 2022, where they serve as Vice President of Sales. In their current role, they are responsible for leading the sales team and developing strategies to grow Inato's business.

David Friend has a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science and Medical Technology from St. Cloud State University. David also went to Mayo HS.
