Niraj Kumar Singh

Machine Learning Engineer at Inbound Health

Niraj Kumar Singh has extensive experience in the field of machine learning engineering. Niraj started their career as a Project Trainee at NCBS in 2014, followed by a role as a developer at a startup called Foodiary. In 2018, they worked as a Project Associate at the Computational Neuroscience Lab at IIT Madras.

Starting in 2020, Niraj became a Machine Learning Research Intern at BenevolentAI, where they gained practical experience in the field. Niraj then pursued their Master's degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher.

In 2021, they joined Curai as a Machine Learning Engineering Intern, where they contributed to the simplification of Curai's Entity Linking system and researched PHI de-identification platforms. Niraj was later promoted to a Machine Learning Engineer role at Curai, where they led the design, implementation, and deployment of secure backend services for a medication prescription recommendation ML system.

In 2023, Niraj joined IrisAgent as a Machine Learning Engineer, and later that same year, they moved to Inbound Health in the same role.

Niraj Kumar Singh pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 2013 to 2018. In 2016, they participated in a Student Exchange Program at Hanyang University, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General for one year. Later, from 2019 to 2021, they attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science. Additionally, Niraj Kumar Singh acquired various certifications, including the following:
