Hardware Engineer at INBRAIN Neuroelectronics

Xavi Ondoño has been working in the hardware engineering industry since 2011. Xavi began their career at Modpow as an Ingeniero in 2011, where they designed the analog-to-digital front end devices for a sensor network for the agricultural sector, from product conception to PCB. In 2014, they moved to Rob Surgical Systems as an Electronic Designer, where they focused on designing the precision motors for the Bitrack system. In 2016, they joined Wavecontrol as an Electronics Designer, where they improved the design workflow and integration by introducing software solutions and developing new early prototypes for EM sensing technology up to the GHz range. In 2018, they worked as a Hardware Engineer at Ingenia Motion Control. In 2019, they moved to On Testing as a Lead Hardware Engineer, where they developed processes and standards to reliably design and manufacture products for all of their clients, and developed an x64 based platform with DDR4, USBC, DisplayPort, and other high-end consumer technologies for the gaming & computing markets. In 2020, they joined Candam as COO & Lead Hardware Engineer. Finally, in 2022, they will be joining INBRAIN Neuroelectronics as a Hardware Engineer.

Xavi Ondoño completed their Electronic Engineering degree from La Salle BCN between 2010 and 2012. Xavi then went on to pursue an Ingeniero Técnico en Telecomunicaciones degree from the same institution between 2007 and 2010, with a focus on Sistemas Electronicos. In 2012, they began studying for a Grado in Matemáticas and Física aplicada at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D., and is expected to complete both degrees in 2022.
