Arthur J. Brohinsky

Arthur J. (A.J.) Brohinsky is Head of US Private and Growth Equity for Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), as well as Managing Director and Operating Partner. He is responsible for the New York office and sits on the International Private Equity investment committee. In addition to ITI Data, he sits on the boards of directors of AlixPartners, MyEyeDr., PetSmart/Chewy, TeamHealth, and USI.

A.J. has 30 years of operating and investing experience. Before joining CDPQ, he was a managing director and operating partner at Reservoir Capital, where he worked with portfolio company senior management and directors in healthcare, high tech, and services. He served as Chairman of ClearCaptions, a healthcare and technology services company, as well as CEO of C12 Energy.

Before joining Reservoir, A.J. served as a Director at KKR Capstone, a team of operating executives supporting KKR and its portfolio companies, which he joined in 2009. While at KKR Capstone he served as an executive committee member for Bank of America Merchant Services, a joint venture between First Data and Bank of America.

Previously, he was a founding member of executive management and Executive Vice President at SmartOps Corporation, an enterprise software and services provider formed in 2000 and later acquired by SAP AG. There, he led a range of functions including finance, product management, and strategic business development.

Before SmartOps, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, focused on operational improvement across a range of industries. A.J. began his career at Shell Oil Company, where he worked in project, risk, and operations management roles.

A.J. received a B.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering with distinction from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he graduated with honors.
