Dana Stivers

Dana Stivers has a diverse work experience history. They started as a Senior Counselor at YMCA Camp Huckins from 2004 to 2007. They then worked at M&T Bank, first in the Management Development Program during the summer of 2008, and then as a Business and Planning Analyst in partnership with Buffalo Promise Neighborhood from 2010 to 2011. They later joined Mount Holyoke College as the Phoneathon Manager from 2007 to 2009. Dana worked at Yale University in various roles, such as a Gilder Lehrman Graduate Fellow from 2013 to 2014 and as a Photographer for the Yale Marketing & Communications office from 2013 to 2014. They also served as the Manager of Global Grounds and as a Community Change Intern at Columbus House Inc. during their time at Yale. In 2014, Dana joined Incarnation Center, first as the Development, Marketing & Communications Manager, and then as the Associate Executive Director. They were responsible for managing staff, programs, and facilities, designing new programs, overseeing finances, forging community partnerships, and representing the organization externally. Lastly, they became the Founding Director at Steward Outdoor School from 2018 to 2020, where they focused on environmental science, ethics, and outdoor adventure for K-6th grade students.

Dana Stivers holds a Masters degree in Ethics and Social Change from Yale University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Mount Holyoke College from 2007 to 2009, where they majored in Religion and minored in Economics and Asian Studies. Dana Stivers also graduated from Falmouth High School, although specific years and degrees are not provided. Additionally, Dana Stivers has certifications in CPR and lifeguarding from the American Red Cross, as well as Wilderness First Aid from NOLS Wilderness Medicine.
