Ed Boyer

Ed Boyer has over 16 years of work experience in various roles in the technology industry. Ed is currently the Director of Programming - Front end technologies at ICF since February 2020. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2020, they worked at ITG - Incentive Technology Group, where they held multiple roles, including Project Lead for Front-end Technologies + Senior Engineer, Enterprise Solutions Architect / Tech Lead - Front End technologies, and Tech Lead - Senior Engineer. In these roles, they provided guidance, leadership, and programming expertise for projects involving Java Spring micro-services, AWS, Angular, and other technologies. Before joining ITG, they worked as a Senior Engineer & Tech Lead Contractor at GSA in 2018. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Technical Lead, Application Developer, and Subject Matter Expert for a federal contractor for ITG on CAMEO projects, including GECO, GSA Advantage, and FPT. Ed also had a short-term role as a Senior Analyst - Contractor at GSA in 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a System Engineer at Essential System Solutions (ESS) from 2014 to 2015, where they helped customers solve their business needs through programming and system customization. Their earliest work experience was as an IT Professional, POS Specialist at BME Business Systems from 2004 to 2014, where they assisted customers with point of sale systems and provided onsite installation, system programming, and customer service.

Ed Boyer studied Computer Science at Virginia Tech. Ed has obtained several additional certifications, including PPCP - PixelPoint Certified Professional from ParTech, Inc. in December 2014, Microsoft Dynamics MB5-845 from Prometric in July 2010, Microsoft MCP from Microsoft in June 2008, Stomberg Enterprise from Stromberg in February 2008, CCNA from Prometric in July 2007, Microsoft Dynamics RMS HQ MB5-198 from Prometric in November 2006, and Management RMS - MB5-199 from Prometric in December 2005.
