Alvaro Velásquez Cisternas

Alvaro Velásquez Cisternas has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Alvaro currently works at Inchcape plc as the Global Head of Data Strategy and Governance since June 2023. Prior to that, they were the Derco Head of Data & Analytics from February to June 2023. Before joining Inchcape and Derco, they held key roles at Derco, Telefónica Chile, LAN Airlines, and Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso. Notably, at Telefónica Chile, they held positions such as Subgerente Customer Intelligence and Jefe Database Marketing y CRM. Alvaro has a strong background in data and analytics and has contributed to various projects related to customer intelligence and business intelligence.

Alvaro Velásquez Cisternas attended Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniero Civil Industrial. In 2009, they pursued a Diploma in Inteligencia de Negocios at Universidad de Chile, specializing in Business intelligence. Additionally, from 2006 to 2008, they pursued an Executive MBA at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, focusing on Master in Business Administration.
