Richard Demblon has over 25 years of experience in human resources and has worked in a variety of industries. Richard is currently the CHRO at Inchcape Shipping Services Ltd.
Demblon began their career in human resources at SBM Offshore in 2014, where they served as the Group Human Resources Director. In this role, they were responsible for defining and implementing the company's human resources strategy. Richard also oversaw employee engagement, change management, workforce readiness, performance management, and learning and development.
In 2016, Demblon left SBM Offshore to take a Sabbatical & Travel for 3 months before joining SYSTRA Ltd as the International Human Resources Director in July 2018. In this role, they were responsible for leading the human resources function for SYSTRA's global operations.
Demblon joined Inchcape Shipping Services Ltd as the CHRO in January 2020. In this role, they are responsible for leading the human resources function for the company.
Richard Demblon's educational career includes obtaining a BA in Psychology and Performing Arts from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, as well as attending Prince Edward High School.
