Overview of role

An exciting opening has arisen in the Incisive Media marketing team for a Senior Marketing Executive. This role will be exposed to all areas and seniorities of the business and is a great opportunity for the right person to progress within the business.

You’ll be joining a fun, supportive, and hardworking wider marketing team where ideas are welcome, creativity is encouraged, and support is given.

We are looking for a dynamic and positive marketing person who will be responsible for developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns to drive the event delegate registrations and awards entries for the Professional Pensions events portfolio, as well as increase awareness of the brand.

To be successful in this role you will need to have at least two years of experience within a marketing role, looking to take your next step up to the senior level. They will also have strong attention to detail and writing skills, as well as being used to working with key stakeholders.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the day-to-day marketing of the Professional Pensions events and webinars across full marketing mix (email, social, PPC, display, telemarketing)

  • Working with the Group Head of Marketing to increase brand awareness and members to the Professional Pensions brand

  • Executing marketing plans, producing high quality, response-driven marketing campaigns that integrate online and offline marketing activities

  • Managing the leads, and monitor the progress of the telesales support

  • Liaising with relevant departments internally to ensure effective marketing of events – sales, operations, editorial, design, customer services

  • Ensuring content is current, accurate and relevant across our website and event collateral

  • Managing social media networks including LinkedIn and Twitter; promoting the groups to ensure growth as well as managing content and PPC

  • Closely monitor and report registrations versus target on all events, updating central sheets to ensure accurate financial reporting at group level

  • Support the commercial team via dedicated sponsorship marketing campaigns & generating marketing qualified leads

  • Regular monitoring and reporting of marketing spend against budget

What we value

  • Degree educated (or equivalent), preferably in a business/marketing related discipline

  • Any experience of financial services and financial markets would be advantageous but not essential

  • 2 years prior marketing events experience

  • Organised and self-motivated with lots of energy and enthusiasm to hit and exceed targets

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Capable of multi-tasking and prioritising
