Joseph Lee

Joseph Lee has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Joseph started their career as the Head of Information Technology at Journeys Travel Insurance, where they directed and managed all aspects of IT and Data Centre operations. Joseph also served as the Systems Architect and Lead Developer for various software and web projects during their time there.

In 2015, Joseph joined Cisco as a Lead Software Engineer. Joseph led a multinational software development, engineering, and QA team for Cisco IT Social Collaboration Services. Joseph was responsible for delivering scalable and high-performance enterprise and cloud applications in a DevOps, Agile, and Continuous Delivery environment. Joseph worked closely with product owners and stakeholders to ensure the products met or exceeded expectations. Their areas of expertise included continuous delivery, agile methodology, DevOps, enterprise architecture, cloud applications, big data/Hadoop, and mentoring.

Joseph then joined Cloudreach, an Atos company, in 2018 as a Lead Cloud Data Engineer. In this role, they contributed to the design, migration, building, and delivery of data and analytics platforms on the cloud for large enterprises. Joseph also led a data and analytics cloud enablement team, assisting enterprises with data strategy, data warehouse modernization, and data and analytics platform implementation. Joseph played a crucial role in enabling data scientists and analysts to gain insights through data-driven cloud-based solutions. Joseph was a subject matter expert in end-to-end data discovery, ingestion, processing, and visualization engagements.

Joseph's work at Cloudreach progressed, and they were promoted to the role of Senior Cloud Data Architect in 2020. In this position, they continued to contribute their expertise in data architecture and management, further enhancing the organization's data and analytics capabilities.

Most recently, in 2022, Joseph took on the role of Regional Discipline Lead - Data & Analytics at Cloudreach. Joseph expanded their responsibilities to include stakeholder management and technical leadership in designing and delivering data and analytics platforms for large enterprises.

Joseph Lee obtained their Master of Science (MSc) in Software Engineering from Kingston University. Joseph enrolled in the program in 2014 and successfully completed it in 2016.
