Chaddy Kumbirai Rungwe

Chaddy Kumbirai Rungwe has worked for four companies since 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer Contractor for Supreme Brands Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd and as a Software Development Engineer for Amazon Web Services. In 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer Contractor for Akiba Digital. Since 2017, they have been working at Inclusivity Solutions, first as a Senior Software Engineer and then as Head of Engineering and Technical Lead. As Technical Lead, their responsibilities include leading and guiding the in-house technical team, making architectural decisions, and developing technical roadmaps. As Senior Software Engineer, they developed software with the goal of bringing financial inclusion to the underprivileged. At Akiba Digital, they built an entire system to facilitate a digital savings platform. At Amazon Web Services, they developed software tools and maintained the old software infrastructure.

Chaddy Kumbirai Rungwe attended the University of Cape Town from 2013 to 2016 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science.
