Energy Equity Research Associate at INCOG (Indian Nations Council of Governments)

Andrew K.Y. Kim is currently serving as a Social Equity & Resilience Graduate Intern at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, where responsibilities include conducting literature research on social resilience, supporting energy transition planning for communities, and analyzing data on human behaviors during disasters. Alongside this role, Andrew is a Student Research Worker at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, focusing on climate and energy insecurity, and contributing to a study linking public works improvements to crime in New York City. Additionally, Andrew works as an Energy Equity Research Associate at INCOG, addressing energy burden issues in Tulsa and Northeastern Oklahoma. Previous experience includes a Clean Cities Graduate Internship with the U.S. Department of Energy and various roles in research and administrative support at the University of Oklahoma and other organizations. Andrew holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Community Health & Sociology from the University of Oklahoma.
